In the Kingdom of the Blind the One Eyed Man is King: London Politics are dead. Long live politics.

Updated: May 14, 2019

In the Westminster Kingdom of the Blind the One Eyed Northerner is King: London Politics are dead. Long live the politics of the one eyed pirates. I say.

The Post War political consensus is over, our party politics in the UK as we have known them post world war two is now over all bar the shouting. The local elections last week throughout the country showed this clearly.

The consensus was that elective representatives from all over the UK would meet in the palace of Westminster and do the business of running the country together on behalf of us, this was a position of great responsibility, after business in Westminster is finished the elected representative would go HOME to their constituency and engage with their communities only to return to Westminster to represent them.

This has ended as I said All bar the shouting. And they are shouting, shouting at each other, at us, but no one is listening, instead we are watching their demise. There is little will out in the country amongst their constituencies to save them

The whole system has failed it has sepsis and it is killing every political party that lives inside it. They are ALL dying

                                                    Let me explain:

The Tories lost over 1,300 council seats, their own councillors and supporters didn’t even vote for themselves. They have no ideas in how to repair the violent assaults and abuse they have inflicted on the Country since head Matron arrived to give us all a good kicking in 1979. Year after year, they have abused the working class in the UK, they have stolen from us, criminilised us, starved us, and reduced us to little more than serfs. I welcome and enjoy their death throws. I’m watching it, and I’m happy.

Labour – the great socialist hope of 1900, 1923, 1945, 1982 and 2015, 2016, 2017 with a small c conservatism, a sprinkle of left wing eugenics and a big Neo-Liberal agenda thrown in between the gaps created that monstrosity yet today in the face of the worst and most shambolic government in history made no real gains in the last local election and lost council seats in the old Labour ‘Red Rosette on a pig’ loyal places like Bolsover, Ashfield, and Mansfield.

WHY?.

Really I should charge for this information bearing in mind it comes from my research and experience over 40 years, yet I still know that this will be challenged by the Labour loyalists.

The British Labour Party is not British, the SNP kicked them out of Scotland 7 years ago, and Wales I would argue are moving in the same direction. Ireland wants its own sovereignty over all its people, and its time it did.

The British Labour Party isn’t even English, it has spent the last 30 years dismantlinting every connection those local Labour communities had to Westminster and back again, there is a lot of talk and really is only talk about young people connecting to the Labour party, lets be honest young people outside of the University Cities have had no connection with the Labour Party, and the Labour Party have had no connection with them. Labour members of parliament have made it their absolute priority to remove themselves as far as possible from their constintuencies and make their business solely about Westminster. While the Labour stronghold local councils have been very busy over the last twenty years setting up private companies with tax payers money, and flogging off public owned assets.

And now the Parliamentary Labour Party Corbyn, Blair, Brown, Kinnochio Shimockio, or any other dead ghost they want to revive of all flavours of Labour are so London centric, and so focused on Westminster they have no idea what is happening in the rest of the country, to the extent that most of the Labour MPs supposed to be representing their constituents now despise them for voting Brexit.

And let us come to London, ‘the cock of the estate’ well London is heamorraging its working class residents, in the last 7 years it has been catastrophic, working class are leaving, being forced out, and abandoned at an alarming rate. London now is another country it has no connection with the rest of the country. Like all top lads London is being challenged by other top lads, and Londons own mates- the rest of the country thinks it’s a twat, what made London ‘Cock’ was its working class that came from all over the world, that lived, loved and swapped lives. Well they are not welcome and all that will be left is the pale, uninspritiing, mediocre worlds middle class.

So when I say that all of the policical parties have lost, I meant it, the Liberal Democrts were ecstatic they are ‘back in business’ but in reality it’s the death throws of the old and deluded system giving it one last breath, even with this absolute shambolic situation brought on by the utter contempt of Westminster politicians towards the country the Lib-dems only did well in places that they had lost previously, they made no impact at all north of London.

The Greens also thought they had won, but bearing in mind they had just had a two week long 24 hour back to back political advertisement with the Extinction Rebellion protests, the constant tv panic apperances by David Attenbourough, and the visit by HRH Greta the new voice of the people, if the people were wealthy, 16, white and was being listened to by all politicians. Lets be honest the Greens underperformed like their middle class kids on a media Degree course because they really aren’t that clever.

And lastly there is UKIP the 1 word that once put the fear of God into David Cameron, they are finished, no one likes them, they are no longer distinguishable from the Far Right crackpots, fascists, and nationalists and racists that currently make up the right wing political groupings in the European Union from Poland, Bulgaria, The Netherlands, France and many other places. We have nothing to fear from UKIP, the British public do not like extremists, left or right. Their votes will hold steady with the dregs of the National Front, the BNP, and the EDL.

What was interesting in the local elections was how many independents were elected, I assume people in their communities who were sick of thier representatives party political posturing and campaigned locally on local issues, I commend them for that.

The other interesting thing was the amount of spoiled ballots, where people had decided to write their own choice words on their ballot slip than put the symbolic X in the box and give away their tiny piece of power to a system that despises them.

What next- Well the Circus is coming to town the European Elections have got to happen and Nigel Farage and his Brexit Party are already filling out town halls and Liesure centres all over the country, this party seems to be aware that the British electorate live in cities, in towns, in villages in the middle of the country, and on the edges of the country and by the sea.

Farage is a slippery character, he can no more represent the British people, as any other politician, yet he is not bound by the strangulation system of Westminster and that will give him the advantage. Millions will vote for this party, why? Because there is nothing else to do with your X

And Change.UK or Tig, or whatever the are called, I can call them snivelling parachuted in bitch boys of the Labour neo-liberal ghosts, with a few Tory insignificants that jumped before they were thrown under the Brexit bus.

Our politics are currently being born and raised amongst a new generation that are starting school, getting free dinners or no dinners, those that are denied the most basic of human rights, political representation and voice they live in the homeless hostels, slum housing, in the worst type of housing poverty, they live on Cooper-Clarkes Beasley Street, in the north in the midlands on the forgotten edges.

None of us know how their politics will shape and grow but one thing I am certain of is.

London political Centricity is coming to end and its about time.

I quote the Salford bard John Cooper Clarke

In the Kingdom of the blind the one eyed man is king

(and yes I know it also has connections to Erasmus and HG Wells but nothing beats a Working class Northern accent and attitude)
